SNEAK PEAK: Rockwood Wedding!

This past Saturday we had the privilege of working with a fun and fabulous couple on their wedding day at Rockwood, right outside downtown Santa Barbara. It was a gorgeous afternoon for their outdoor ceremony. Following was an exciting evening filled with memorable toasts, photo booth fun, and macaroons! It was a pleasure working with Autumn and Kevin on their special day. Here is a sneak peak behind the scenes of their beautiful evening.

The bride and groom are champagne connoisseurs which inspired the theme and decorations of the event. They had a champagne bar with six different varieties from champagne locally and around the world!

Guests were able to write the bride and groom a little note and attach it to a champagne cork for their keepsaking.

The bride and groom's Table - Kevin surprised Autumn with customized bobbleheads!

Kevin and Autumn utilized their "save the date" image on the back of their table numbers.

Kevin proposed to Autumn with her favorite dessert, macaroons! They had macaroon towers at their wedding along with various other yummy desserts.

Not only did the bride and groom have customized bobbleheads, they had a customized "lego bride" and "lego groom!"

Inspiration to Reality - ISES Dinner Tabletop Design

As an event designer, we pride ourselves on creativity and bringing our client's visions and dreams to life. But it's not often that we are given the reigns and a blank slate to create something for ourselves. This is one of the reasons that events like last night's ISES Showcase Dinner are so much fun. Each planner involved was given a tabletop for the dinner to design in any fashion they desired. Yay! I love the opportunity to do something different ... something less "safe". In this case, it was an experiment with color and a modern deco theme that is a little outside my usual. Here is the inspiration for the table:

I fell head over heels in love with Melissa and her mom the first time we met. These two ladies are so full of life and love and FUN. REAL WEDDING: The Hahn Estate Part III

And finally, the party! Red Shoe LA rocked the house all night long while guests danced under a chandelier of disco balls. Old home movies and pictures that ran on a loop were projected over the dance floor onto the side of the house. In the back of the "room", Omni spun cotton candy and a churro man cranked out his fresh deliciousness. Guests gnoshed on mini cupcakes from Enjoy! and packed up goodie bags of miniature peanut butter cookies and cocoa from the DIY custom bar for the shuttle ride home. Total bliss.

Thank you again to the team of extraordinary vendors that brought this weding together. It truly was perfect and a complete joy!
