REAL WEDDING: The Hahn Estate Part I

I am so excited to share Monika and George's wedding with you this week! Hands down, one of my favorites from this year. First of all, one of the nicest couples - ever. I had the pleasure of working closely with Monika on the planning and design for about six months, and I have never laughed so hard in my life. Monika is - among other things - a stand up comedian. Her sense of humor is raw and biting and hysterical. At our menu tasting with Omni Fresco, I think wine actually may have come out my nose. Not very attractive in your wedding planner, I'll admit, but hard to avoid when you're laughing as hard as we were. Months later, I'm still chuckling. Aside from the joy of working with Monika, the design is also one of my favorites. Very clean and understated, but oozing elegance. Rich fabric and layered texture, full and lush flowers ranging from white and cream to cafe au lait and into champagne and peach - good enough to eat! With the expertise of the extremely talented and sweet Blue Magnolia, we played off the Tuscan estate by incorporating lots of Olive branches into the flowers and place settings, as well as the stationary design. And let's face it, the bride's Monique Lhuillier was positively drool-worthy.

A BIG thank you to Lauren Ross for sharing the beautiful images. Enjoy!

A HUGE thank you and "hats off" to the vendors that worked so hard and made this gorgeous affair happen!!! Tune in tomorrow for more of this wedding!
